This premium pale ale is brewed to an original gravity of 1036° - 1040° and dry hopped during the period of maturation prior to bottling. The result is a full bodied pale ale which should impart a delicate hop character behind the residual sweetness of the malt sugars. BUY
India Pale Ale (IPA) is brewed to a lower original gravity and this beer undergoes a similar process of maturation to the Blue Label. The result is a lighter, more mellow ale with a distinctive hop character. BUY
A dry, heavily hopped strong pale ale with an extremely light colour. Originally commissioned by the National Maritime Museum for the quarter centenary celebrations of the defeat of the Spanish Armada by Sir Francis Drake, we were requested to continue production by numerous devotees. BUY
Kiss was first brewed in 1999 to celebrate the return of Rodin's famous sculpture to Lewes (from where it was commissioned) for a summer-long exhibition. It is the only beer which Harveys produce using oats in the mash, creating a unique mealy character. This is a seasonal ale bottled in February.
The copperwheat brew is made from malted barley and wheat together with Hallertau hops. Brewed in a style of a continental 'Weiss Bier' it is best served chilled. This is a summer beer brewed in June.
Brewed to commemorate the bicentenary of the publication of the "The Rights of Man" by the radical Thomas Paine who lived in Lewes and worked as an excise officer in the town between 1768 -74. Thomas Paine is believed to have helped draft the American Declaration Of Independence. A dry hopped strong pale ale. BUY

Harveys first brewed and bottled Bonfire Boy as a tribute to the emergency services following the fire in July 1996 which destroyed the brewery shop and offices. Bonfire Boy on draught is now established as part of our seasonal brews and is available every November. A strong ale, brewed to an original gravity of 1066°. The brew has a subtle smoky character.

Historically so called due to the flavour of the beer, whose roasted malt and caramel sugars produce the nutty palate of this dark, smooth ale. Priming sugars are later added to impart a background sweetness. BUY
We have taken a porter recipe of 1859 from Henry Harvey's brewing journal and reproduced it faithfully using pale ale malt, crystal malt, black malt, locally grown hops, our own spring water and yeast strain. We have subsequently bottled the beer in both pasteurised and bottle conditioned form. BUY

A low-alcohol Sussex Pale Ale produced from the Best Bitter. The name is derived from the cockney rhyming slang and is a fitting tribute to the generations of Londoners who harvested the crop in the hop gardens of Sussex. BUY
A low-alcohol Sussex Old Ale produced from the Old Ale and retaining the essential character of this brew. As with the John Hop, the beer is produced identically to the parent product and the alcohol is only removed prior to bottling. A Bronze Medal Winner at the BBI Awards in 1990. BUY
