Brewery Tours

Brewery Tours are only conducted by a member of the Brewing Room and we cannot accommodate more than three visits each week. Consequently a two year waiting list is the norm.

It is well worth the wait!

We pride ourselves on providing a relaxed opportunity for customers to gain an appreciation of the brewing process and our heritage - and to raise any questions with our production staff.

Due to the ever increasing requests for brewery tours, we have now exceeded our two year waiting list and I regret that we can accept no more applications at present. We are committed to accommodating all outstanding requests, in strict rotation, at the earliest opportunity. Realistically this will take us at least eighteen months. Thereafter, we should be able to commence again with a shorter response time.

Tours are conducted by brewers outside normal working hours and are between two to three hours duration. For reasons of safety and production pressures, tours are not possible during working hours.

Unlike many tours of commercial premises, our brewery tour is not simply a walk around with a guide ; it is a chance for us to meet our customers and give an insight to the heritage of brewing at Harvey's. The informal sampling session that follows is a catalyst for one to one questions and answers. We also gain a great insight from the experience and it is always a pleasure to entertain our customers in this manner.

Please bear with us during this period. Any requests received will be acknowledged but applicants will be asked to re-apply when we open booking again.

More details:

• Tours take place between June and November excluding August.
• Monday to Thursday evenings ONLY from 6.30pm - 8.45pm.
• No tours are conducted at weekends or during a Bank Holiday week.
• A maximum of 25 persons are allowed in a group.
• There is a nominal charge of £2.50 per person that should be paid in advance as a deposit on confirmation of a tour date.
