Bus Bar

Harveys do not have any on-licenced resources (in particular - bar staff): All our pubs are run by self employed tenants, (not staff employed by the brewery).

The popularity of our beer throughout our trading area can result in occasional frustration for drinking customers when the beer cannot be found at a local event, Such As:

To enable our beer to be offered at more such events, Harveys has a  mobile unit for hire in the form of a converted Double Decker Bus. The top deck has seating at fixed tables. The lower deck is configured for beer storage and dispense in the form of an air conditioned cellar and bar. An awning, running the length of the bus, can be erected when necessary.

Costs. To hire the bus independently, there is a charge of not less than £250.00 payable in advance, plus a deposit. This fee will include the vehicle's delivery and return to and from an agreed and reconnoitred venue. Additional charges apply depending on whether the awning is required, an electricity generator needs to be provided, etc.

The Bus Bar is currently situated at Sussex County Cricket Club.
