Sussex Best Bitter Alcohol 4.0%
vol.
Winner of the First Prize Gold Medal at the International
Brewers’ Exhibition in 1980, this beer is brewed to an original gravity
of 1036° -1040° from a recipe which has evolved over many years. It
is a full, well-hopped bitter with a reputation that exceeds the borders
of its native and adjoining counties.

Sussex Pale Ale Alcohol 3.5%
vol.
Originally brewed during the last war when materials
were strictly rationed, this 1030° -1034° bitter was
retained when the Best Bitter was reintroduced to offer a choice of
product to the public. It is a well
balanced, well-hopped bitter and was awarded First Prize at CAMRA’s
Great British Beer Festival in 1990.

Armada Ale Alcohol 4.5% vol
A premium bitter, born from the bottled ale of the same
name. Brewed to an original gravity of 1044° -1048° , this golden bitter
is ‘dry hopped’ in cask to produce a dry, bitter palate and a splendid
aroma of hops. It was awarded Second Prize at CAMRA’s Great British
Beer Festival in 1992.

XX Mild Ale Alcohol 3.0% vol.
This dark traditional mild ale, brewed all year round
to an original gravity of 1028° -1032° is a well balanced beer with
a soft, slightly sweet palate.
