Harveys Beer - Customer Information.

  • All our Bottled Beers are sold in our two shops. Customers can also take away containers of our cask conditioned ales.
  • Harveys Best Bitter is sold all year round and a selection of Seasonal Draught Brews are available throughout the year.
  • Harveys draught beer is available in two different forms:

    1. Bright Beer: Has no sediment but must be drunk immediately.

    2. Cask Conditioned Beer: Has a sediment and will need 24 hours to settle. The sediment drops to the bottom of the container and any movement will require the beer to be re-settled.

The Cask Conditioned beer will last much longer than the Bright - up to 14 days from purchase.

The Following sizes are available in Bright only:

  • 2.5 litres (just over 4 pints).
  • 5.0 litres (just over 8 pints).
  • 10.00 litres (approximately 17.5 pints)

  • Polypin: 20.5 litres (approximately 36 pints).
  • The container is a bag in a box.
  • Firkin: 40.9 Litres (approximately 72 pints).
  • A steel cask with a wooden tap (Supplied).
  • A £50 deposit is required on Firkins.
