November 2006 - Harveys moves to new depot.

After nine years at the Pinwell Road Depot, Harveys has moved on to bigger premises in Daveys Lane, Lewes.

The old depot was a landmark by the station but despite its scenic location, getting Harveys' latest large drays in and out of an awkward road junction was getting impossible so the company had to find larger premises.

The new warehouse is 3,600 sq metres with plenty of room for expansion.

The Pinwell Lane Depot has been sold and will be redeveloped into a mix of commercial and residential buildings.
