Rhone Valley Wines
Situated in Gigondas in southern Rhone, Gabriel Meffre produce a whole variety of wines including the popular brands of Wild Pig and La Chasse de Pape; however their best wines are known as LAURUS. In the early 1990s the winery set out to produce a range of wines offering the quality and style of the different villages and sub regions of the Rhone Valley, the sole intention being to produce the best wines in each district to compete with the well known quality producers such as Chapoutier and Jaboulet. Harveys imported a selection of these wines in 2002 and have worked to promote this brand for many years.
