Possibly Maidstone's best kept secret despite being discouragingly located beside the two lane southern exit route from town.  However Look again, this is a beautiful unspoilt Dickensian emporium with ancient fireplaces and timberwork.  Cask Ale is the speciality and Harvey enthusiasts have long been devoted to this house.
