About
India Pale Ale is brewed to a lower original gravity and undergoes a similar process of maturation to the Sussex Best. A fragrant hop character, derived from a blend of Fuggle and Progress hops, gives a full but delicate bitterness.
ORIGIN
IPA was once a mainstay brand of traditional breweries. Referred to as ‘ordinary bitter’ by way of differentiation, there is little that is ordinary about it. Premium malted barleys and local aroma hops combine to create this refreshing IPA.

Food Pairing
Every spicy dish needs a partnering beer with a gentle bitterness to balance out all of the heat. A tasty chicken or vegetable madras that puts chilli, coriander, cumin, and turmeric together in a tomato base coating tender pieces of chicken is the way to go. It is a supper for conversation; for friends around the table. And the IPA is necessary, both for balance and to simply keep it social.
