Harveys Floral Competition 2013 Winners!

Throughout the Licensed trade some publicans make a great and rewarding effort to keep their public houses looking inviting throughout the year.

To celebrate this we hold the annual Harveys Floral Competition, and today we have the great pleasure of announcing the winners!

The judging was held by Jim Buttress, who for many years was Keeper of The Royal Parks. Jim has been awarded the Victoria Medal of Honour in Horticulture (VMH), the highest award that The Royal Horticultural Society can bestow.

Village Pub
  • Winner :-  The Rose & Crown, Burwash
  • Runner up :- Royal Oak, Barcombe
Director Awards for Special Individual Effort

The Directors Rose Bowl Trophy for The Best House Overall

All runners up will receive £50


Many thanks to all the tenants who took part in this year’s competition. Choosing winners is always a difficult choice and I am glad that I am not a judge.
