The Royal Oak in Barcombe is an unspoilt, well-frequented community pub with a warm welcome, original features and an open fire. There is bench seating at the front and a cosy pub garden at the rear for sunny afternoons.
They boast a spacious separate function room with a high ceiling and oak beams ideal for birthdays parties, meetings or community events, available for hire in the afternoon or evening. They also have a traditional pub skittle alley which is great fun for all ages.
They serve a selection of well kept Harvey’s ales, lagers, wines and spirits as well as a growing collection of single malts.
Freshly prepared and delicious seasonal pub food is available Wednesday to Sunday using locally sourced meats and fresh produce whenever possible. Lunch is from 12-3pm and dinner from 6-9pm Wednesday to Saturday. Excellent roasts are served on Sundays from 12-5pm as well as the regular menu. A selection of buffet options are also available for any party or function bookings.
Every Monday a wood-fired vintage pizza van cooks artisan pizzas from 5-8pm in the car park and you are very welcome to eat them in the pub.
Saturday night is Curry Night (6-9pm) with a selection of beautifully prepared regional curries served with rice, poppadom, mango chutney and yoghurt dip all for only £12.
Quiz night is on Sundays from 7pm with cash prizes.
