Hop Around Our Pubs

The English pub does not translate well to other countries. As an icon of the Nation, pubs surpass fish & chips, double decker buses and village cricket. Our pubs are to be treasured and require support. Hilaire Belloc, a great Sussex writer, wrote... "When you have lost your inns drown your empty selves, for you will have lost the last of England!"

Harvey Pubs represent a remarkable cross section of the Nation's wonderful variety of inns and taverns. If, like Harveys, you rejoice in the great variety of English pubs, you should embark of the journey known as The Harvey Hop. This experience invites you to take your time (months if necessary) and visit all 48 of our pubs from Midhurst to Maidstone, London to Brighton.
