Withdrawal of Harvey’s Pub Finder Mobile App
Launched in 2013 the free Harvey’s Pub Finder App was a new technology the brewery eagerly invested in to reach customers trying to find Harvey’s Beers.
Harvey's will now be withdrawing the App from relevant app stores as the company have reinvested in better functionality on their recently redeveloped website.
“The Harvey’s Pub Finder App accomplished over 11,000 downloads, and we feel it achieved its fundamental goal of assisting beer drinkers looking to locate their nearest pint of Harvey’s at the time. Due to it's success with customers we did not want to lose the facility, but the available technologies have been updated significantly since 2013. Our solution has been to invest in a better application, which merges the app features to a design that is native to our new website."
“This being the case we will be withdrawing the App from the Apple store and Google Play store in the next few days. The functionality of the App is now out of date, and we would like to redirect customers to the ‘Pub Finder’ page on the Harvey’s website.” said Zoë Prescott, Harvey’s Brewery Marketing Executive.
Using up to date geo-location the native website application offers the same opportunities for finding Harvey’s nearby as the App, and features over 500 permanent stockists of Harvey’s beers; from farm shops to off licenses, and over 350 pubs.
Those wishing to continue to use the Harvey’s Pub Finder App on their phone or device please know that this is no longer supported and that those venues may no longer be Harvey’s beer stockists. Please contact establishments prior to visiting to avoid disappointment.
