Family-run traditional pub within 100 metres of Polegate Station, serving Cask Marque accredited Harvey's ales. A century ago the pub was known as The Polegate Inn, frequented during the First World War by wounded ANZAC soldiers while convalescing at a nearby hospital.
It was these Australians who declared the pub 'fair dinkum'.
Open fires in the winter rear garden and regular barbeques on the front patio in the afternoon. Food served Monday to Sunday including our famous Sunday roast.
