Family-run traditional pub within 100 metres of Polegate Station, serving Cask Marque accredited Harvey’s ales.
A century ago the pub was known as The Polegate Inn, frequented during the First World War by wounded ANZAC soldiers while convalescing at a nearby hospital. It was these Australians who declared the pub ‘fair dinkum’.
The pub retains its historic character, with open fires in use during the winter months, a newly renovated rear garden, and both indoor and outdoor music adding to the atmosphere.
Dogs are welcome, and parking is available.
