This is the landmark public house located in the heart of Ashdown Forest, close to the acclaimed Ashdown Park Hotel and numerous attractions in the area including Winnie the Pooh bridge. It is located just five minutes from the Hatch Inn, Ashdown Visitor Centre and the llama Farm.

Proprietor Nicholas Drillsma and partner Sandy Barton have built an enviable reputation over the past 20 years in producing the highest quality locally sourced food, complimented by an extensive wine list including ten wines served by the glass. The daily changing menus reflect our customer profile in delivering quality food and service in a cosy, quintessentially English public house. There are two large gardens for summer dining with vistas to the forest.
