Harvey's will be attending the Great British Beer Festival this August with a Harvey Hop Bar, a host of cask beers, and keg beers, available for the first time in the history of the event.
Now in it's 42nd year the event will reveal a new Discovery Zone where visitors can learn more about their favourite drinks. Harvey's Head Brewer and Joint Managing Director Miles Jenner will join the festival trade day with their Wharf IPA, dispensed in both cask and keg for comparative tasting. Their barley wine Tin Lizzie will also be available on keg for the first time.
Great British Beer Festival Organiser Catherine Tonry said: “We’re excited to unveil the new Discovery Zone at the Great British Beer Festival, which will give visitors a unique opportunity to learn more about the brewing process. Brewers will be on hand to guide visitors through relaxed, engaging and informative tastings while exploring a range of topics such as dispense, diversity in brewing or showcasing beers in new formats.
“The new addition of a cask and keg comparative tasting is an incredibly exciting component, and one that is sure to spark debate throughout the festival week!”

As a result of the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid 19) pandemic we have taken the difficult decision to scale back our operations at Harvey's.
We are brewing, of necessity, to reproduce and preserve our unique yeast strain - so the familiar smell of hops and malt may still drift across the town on occasions. Hopefully we will be able to store and, eventually, bottle the resultant brews.
The Brewery Shop is closed until further notice. Our online shop may have a limited selection of stock added when available, please check back for updates.
If you have any questions about orders please email email@example.com, and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as we can.
Some Harvey's pubs are still operating as community hubs, and we recommend that you contact any individual pubs directly to see if they are continuing their initiatives.
Please keep safe, and continue to do your part by following Government guidelines.
Our sincerest thanks to all of you once again for your support.
